A city of history, culture and heritage

Your visit to Bastia will be full of discoveries. Start by going to the Old Port, the market and the Citadel. Continue your exploration with two churches: the Sainte-Marie Cathedral and the Saint-Jean Church.

Take advantage of your visit to discover the Museum in the former Palace of the Genoese Governor. Its exhibition on the history of Bastia will allow you to learn more about your vacation spot!

From Bastia, you can easily travel throughout Corsica: the city has the best road network on the island.

Lazy days on the Corsican beaches

There are many beaches around your holiday apartment in Bastia! You just have to choose the one you like.

20 minutes from your accommodation, find the Ficaghjola beach or the Arinella beach. You can reach the latter from the Old Port by taking the Aldilonda footbridge. A little further, relax on the La Marana beach, swim in the crystal clear water of the Lavasina beach at Cap Corse and enjoy the sun on the sand of the Lotu beach, in Saint Florent.

Memorable hikes and walks

The Corsican landscapes are breathtaking. To discover some of the most beautiful panoramas of the island, we particularly recommend these walks: the Sentier des Douaniers de Saint-Florent or that of Cap Corse, the Étang de Biguglia, 10 minutes by car from Bastia, or the GR20, which starts in Balagne.

Do not hesitate to ask your host: she will be able to advise you on many walking routes.

Activities to do with the family around Bastia

There are many activities that will please young and old around your accommodation. Visit adventure and amusement parks to have fun with your family. Discover the Moriani Adventure Park (1 hour), the Western Splash in Biguglia (20 minutes) or the Galea Park (50 minutes).
